Man wanted for assault and gunshot wound in Neyba captured in Villa Hermosa

La Romana. – Police officers arrested in the municipality of Villa Hermosa a man who was a fugitive from justice for his alleged involvement in a violent act that occurred in Neyba. The detainee was identified as Juan Manuel Jiménez Florian, alias “Ñoñi”, 20 years old, who was actively sought by the authorities after being identified as the alleged responsible for shooting Kevin Daniel Gómez Santana. According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred on January 24 during an alleged robbery attempt in Neyba. Arrest warrant No. 590-2026-SAJ-00049 was pending against the accused. According to the authorities, the young man remained at large until he was located and arrested in Villa Hermosa, La Romana province. Following his capture, he will be transferred to Barahona province, where he must answer to justice for the charges against him.
