Buenos Aires.- Argentine singer María Becerra revealed that she suffered the loss of four pregnancies between 2023 and 2025, a situation that deeply affected her physical and emotional health and which, as she explained, prevents her from conceiving children naturally due to the risk it would pose to her life.

The artist shared details of her experience for the first time during an interview on the YouTube channel Latino Champs, where she explained that the losses occurred while she was trying to start a family with her partner, fellow singer J Rei.

We were trying for a baby in 2023, 2024, and 2025, and I lost four pregnancies”, the performer confessed.

Becerra explained that the first pregnancy was ectopic, while the second and third ended in miscarriages. However, she stated that the fourth loss was the most serious and almost cost her her life.

I lost my vital signs. I was unconscious and I had a seizure. The doctor said: ‘We are going to do everything possible, but there is a possibility that he won’t survive’. It was really very hard”, he recounted.

The singer had already revealed in April 2025 that she had undergone emergency surgery after suffering complications derived from an ectopic pregnancy, an episode that caused great concern among her followers.

As explained, the aftereffects of the medical procedures and the complications suffered led specialists to recommend that she not attempt a pregnancy naturally again.

“I cannot have babies naturally because it puts my life at risk. I cannot have them, I was already told that,” she stated.

Despite the difficult diagnosis, the artist remained optimistic about the possibility of becoming a mother in the future through other alternatives available thanks to medical advances.

“It is 2026. There is technology and there are treatments. We can have a family. Just not in a natural way,” she expressed.

The performer of hits such as Automático, Corazón Vacío, and Ojalá stated that she decided to share her experience with the goal of making visible the situations that many women go through during their pregnancy processes and to raise awareness about the risks associated with certain pregnancies.

After overcoming health issues, Becerra gradually resumed her artistic career with the release of her album Quimera and a series of massive performances, marking her return to the stage after one of the most difficult periods of her life.
