Early this Saturday morning, the home of Navarrete Mayor Genrry Noel Peralta was shot at, an event from which everyone fortunately emerged unharmed. Unknown individuals strafed the mayor’s residence, firing directly at the room where his wife and a small child were sleeping. The bullet impacts were embedded in the window of the family room, just centimeters from the bed and on the wall, evidencing the attackers’ clear intention to cause lethal harm.
