Santo Domingo.– The Embassy of Cuba in the Dominican Republic is under surveillance by National Police agents, after Dominican authorities ordered the departure from the country of nine members of the diplomatic mission and their relatives.
Officials and their relatives have a period of seven days to leave the Dominican territory, in accordance with the measure adopted by the Government.
Given this situation, members of the National Police remain stationed in the vicinity of the diplomatic headquarters, as part of the security measures established while the period granted for the departure of the Cuban representatives elapses.
