La Vega, D.R. – The National Police reported the arrest in flagrante delicto of Gerald Rodríguez Hierro, 28, and Michel Santos Payán, 19, who were detained by members of the Preventive Police while traveling on a motorcycle through this city.
During the search, a Taurus brand .38 caliber revolver was seized from the detainees, without any type of documentation proving its legal carry or possession.

The detainees are accused of violating Law 631-16 for the Control and Regulation of Weapons, Ammunition and Related Materials, for the illegal carrying of a firearm, for which they will be placed at the disposal of the justice system for the corresponding legal purposes.
