Santo Domingo.– The Board of Directors of Grupo Popular announced the appointment of Manuel Grullón Hernández as the new Executive Vice President of Corporate Governance, Shareholder Relations and Economics, within the framework of a process of institutional strengthening and planned generational replacement. The decision was adopted during the Council session held on Thursday, February 26, and is part of a strategy aimed at consolidating the governance structure of the financial group, as well as ensuring the continuity of its vision of growth, sustainability, and corporate modernization. The appointment will be ratified by the shareholders’ meeting at the end of April and will take effect in July 2026. According to the information provided by the entity, the designation responds to an orderly transition that seeks to guarantee stability and strategic coherence in key areas linked to corporate governance, shareholder relations, and economic analysis.

Manuel Grullón Hernández will assume the position, replacing Rafael A. del Toro G., who will take voluntary retirement after a 39-year career in the organization.
