London.- Prince George, eldest son of the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate, celebrated his 13th birthday this Wednesday, marking a new stage in his life as he prepares to begin his studies at the prestigious Eton College.
To commemorate the date, Kensington Palace released a new photograph of the young heir, in which he appears dressed in a black suit and a white shirt. The image was shared on the official social media channels of the British royal family and received a congratulatory message from King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
George is second in line to the throne of the United Kingdom, only behind his father, Prince William, so he is destined to become monarch in the future.
