Prince Harry will not be able to stay at Buckingham Palace during his visit to London

London.– Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, will not be able to stay at Buckingham Palace during his upcoming visit to the United Kingdom, after failing to confirm the accommodation request offered by the British royal family within the established deadline.

Sources close to the royals explained that the deadline to accept the stay expired over the weekend without receiving confirmation from the prince, which led to the cancellation of the offer.

A spokesperson for Harry previously indicated that King Charles III’s youngest son had hoped to be able to stay at the royal residence during his time in London, so the decision has caused disappointment in his circle.

According to the same sources, the staff at the royal residences requires confirmation in advance to organize the logistics and security of the guests, which would have motivated the decision to withdraw the offer.

The Duke of Sussex is expected to arrive in the United Kingdom this Monday, in a visit that coincides with a court ruling related to his lawsuit against British media outlets, in which he is participating alongside other public figures.

On the family front, it has been reported that his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children Archie and Lilibet will not accompany him on the first part of the trip, due to the refusal of the British authorities to grant him official police protection.

However, it is not ruled out that the family may meet later during the visit, amid speculation about possible encounters with members of the royal family, including King Charles III.

The situation occurs in a context of ongoing tensions between Prince Harry and the British monarchy, which in recent years has significantly reduced his participation in official activities.
