PRM leader Delvis Santos described the actions announced by the government’s economic cabinet in the recent Anti-Crisis Plan as sensible, necessary, and timely.
Delvis, acting president of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) in Las Terrenas, highlighted a series of differentiating aspects of the aforementioned plan when comparing it with previous initiatives.
“Honestly, we are facing a different proposal that seeks tangible answers to palpable demands of the national economy, originated from undeniable international events,” he asserted.

For example, he highlighted the elimination of the advance payment established in the Tax Code (Law 11-92), which sets a monthly payment projected on fictitious sales, the application of net exemption to equipment and tools used in the agricultural sector, and the maintenance of social programs intact, among others.
