Qik Banco Digital Dominicano, S.A. – Banco Múltiple, a subsidiary of Grupo Popular and the country’s first neobank, was recognized by Global Finance magazine with the Best Fintech AI award, in the second edition of the 2026 AI in Finance Awards, for its strategic use of artificial intelligence to offer a better experience to its customers.

Artificial intelligence is part of Qik’s operating model and is present at key moments in its users’ banking experience. From the evaluation and approval of financial products in a matter of minutes to personalized attention through its virtual assistant, this technology allows customers to access services faster, simpler, and more conveniently, while maintaining high standards of security and efficiency.

Specifically, this technology allows for the completion of certain evaluation and approval processes in a matter of minutes, as well as offering responses and services tailored to the needs of each client.

“At Qik Digital Bank, we see artificial intelligence as an opportunity to offer simpler, more personalized, and more relevant experiences for our customers. It allows us to evolve into a true financial copilot, capable of supporting people with greater context and timeliness in their decisions,” said Arturo Grullón, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Qik Digital Bank.

He added that, “at Qik we are convinced that innovation only generates value when it strengthens trust, which is why we promote the development of AI with transparency, solid governance, and human oversight”.

The AI in Finance Awards recognize organizations that drive innovation in the financial sector through the implementation of artificial intelligence solutions.

The winners were selected by an international panel of experts from CGI, a global information technology and business consulting firm and a leader in the responsible implementation of artificial intelligence, while the final selection was made by the Global Finance editorial team.
