UASD and ITLA will strengthen alliance to boost training in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital transformation

Rector Asjana David and ITLA Director Jimmy Rosario will strengthen their alliance to provide training in AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation at the UASD.

The rector of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), Dr. Jorge Asjana David, received this Monday in his office the engineer Jimmy Rosario, executive director of the Technological Institute of the Americas (ITLA), to address inter-institutional cooperation initiatives for the benefit of the country’s higher education system.

During the meeting, it was agreed to strengthen training in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, both for the university community and the hospital sector, promoting the protection of information and the modernization of technological processes and modernizing the processes.

Likewise, actions aimed at institutional digitalization, secure cloud data storage, and the strengthening of managerial capabilities through the use of artificial intelligence will be promoted, further contributing to the positioning of the Primada de América as more modern and internationally connected.
