Rows are registered in the Quisqueya for tickets for tonight’s Licey–Escogido duel
Santo Domingo. – From the early hours of the morning, dozens of fans are stationed at the ticket offices of the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium, trying to get tickets for the expected first match of the season between the Tigres del Licey and the Leones del Escogido.
The enthusiasm for the capital classic has caused lines, where fans express their desire not to miss the start of a new edition of the most intense rivalry in Dominican baseball.
“I came since eight in the morning to secure my ticket, because I won’t miss this game,” commented one of the blue supporters who was waiting in line.

Both Licey and Escogido fans agree that the atmosphere before the game suggests a full house at the Quisqueya, where tonight the call of “play ball” will be given for the first of one of the most anticipated matches of the 2025-2026 season of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM).
