Santo Domingo. – From the early hours of the morning, dozens of fans are stationed at the ticket offices of the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium, trying to get tickets for the expected first match of the season between the Tigres del Licey and the Leones del Escogido.
The enthusiasm for the capital classic has caused lines, where fans express their desire not to miss the start of a new edition of the most intense rivalry in Dominican baseball.
“I came since eight in the morning to secure my ticket, because I won’t miss this game,” commented one of the blue supporters who was waiting in line.
