Santo Domingo Este. Urban artist Shadow Blow stated that young people must exercise their right to vote to contribute to the country’s development and asserted that artists, as public figures, have a responsibility to set a good example for society.
During an interview granted to communicator Guasapo, for De Último Minuto, prior to his concert in Invivienda, Shadow Blow highlighted that the show represented a way to thank the sector that saw him grow up.
“This is an opportunity to give back to the neighborhood everything it has given me. We came with the whole crew, pyrotechnics, stage design, and a great team because the neighborhood deserves something big,” he expressed.
The performer also announced that he is working on new collaborations with national and international artists, while continuing to promote his latest musical project, “El Capítulo 6.0”.
When referring to citizen participation, he invited young people of legal age to go to the polls when appropriate.

“Everyone who is already eligible to vote must do so. That is the way to decide the future of the country, with more development, equality, and opportunities for all,” he stated.
Likewise, he sent a message to urban artists who have faced legal issues, pointing out that those who decide to pursue an artistic career must understand the responsibility that comes with becoming a public figure.
“When you decide to be an artist, you are exposed to debate and people’s judgment. You have to handle yourself in a different way and act with responsibility,” he maintained.
