Santo Domingo.- Spain will invite the acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, to the Ibero-American Summit to be held in Madrid on November 4 and 5, Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, informed this Tuesday during an official visit to the Dominican Republic.
“Right now what we are doing is reaching out to all countries and we are going to act as we always do. We invite whoever has the international representation of each country,” said Albares in a meeting with the press when asked if they had already invited Delcy Rodríguez to that meeting.

The Ibero-American Summit in Madrid “will not be different from another, the Pro Tempore Secretariat does not change the rules. There are rules established by everyone and at all times we are going to follow them,” added the Spanish minister.Dominican Republic will also attend the summit in Madrid
Albares also confirmed that the President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, will attend the Ibero-American Summit. The Spanish minister offered the information to the Spanish press at the headquarters of the Spanish embassy in Santo Domingo after a meeting with his Dominican counterpart, Roberto Álvarez, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic, the second stop on his tour of Latin America that began yesterday in Puerto Rico and will continue in Mexico.
