Santo Domingo.— Televida invites the whole country to light the flame of faith once again on Sunday, August 30, the date on which thousands of homes, businesses, and institutions will join the sixth edition of its annual Telethon under the slogan: “A Signal of Hope, a Future of Vocations”.
The event will be broadcast through Televida, Channel 41, nationwide and on all its digital platforms. The main objective is to raise funds for two purposes that beat with the same sentiment: to sustain the evangelizing mission of the television station and to support the formation of the young men of the Buen Pastor Minor Seminary.
Since its inauguration in 1995 as the first Catholic channel of the Dominican family, Televida has accompanied households with programming focused on Christian values, human formation, and spiritual guidance. Three decades later, that commitment is renewed with this new edition of the Telemarathon.
“With every contribution, we will continue this evangelizing mission, keeping the faith alive in the hearts of our people. With the support of every person of good will, we will continue to train the pastors of tomorrow and bring hope to all the families of the country,” expressed Rev. Fr. Kennedy Rodríguez, General Director of Televida Channel 41.

The young men of the Good Shepherd Minor Seminary prepare to answer the priestly call, a vocation that strengthens spiritual accompaniment, community service, and the preservation of the values that sustain the family. Investing in their education is a direct commitment to the spiritual future of the country.
The Catholic organization recalls the words of the Gospel that inspire this new day: “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Pray, therefore, to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers for his harvest” (Matthew 9:37-38).
Companies, institutions, and families can join as sponsors or benefactors through different contribution levels —Gold, Silver, and Bronze—, each with visibility and brand presence benefits throughout the entire campaign. Participation is also expected from parishes, Catholic schools, and Dominicans living in the diaspora, who have historically responded with generosity to this call.
