Santo Domingo Norte.– In the framework of the commemoration of International Women’s Day, the movement 3 Millones de Voces por Maireni y todas las Caídas held a march-walk in the municipality of La Victoria, bringing together dozens of women, community leaders, young people and families committed to the promotion of rights, equality and female empowerment. During the walk, representatives of the movement highlighted the importance of continuing to promote initiatives that strengthen the participation of women in social, community, and leadership spaces, reaffirming the commitment to continue working for a more just, equitable, and inclusive society. It was also highlighted that International Women’s Day is not only a date for celebration, but also for reflection on the progress made and the challenges that still persist to ensure full equality of rights and opportunities.

The march organizers thanked the support of the community of La Victoria and all the participants who joined this significant day, reiterating that the 3 Million Voices for Maireni and all the Fallen movement will continue to promote activities that strengthen the voice of the citizenry and the active participation of women in the development of the country.
