Santo Domingo. – The leader of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) and president of the Poder Pa’l Pueblo movement, Tomás Hernández Alberto, congratulated the government of President Luis Abinader for the recognition granted by the FAO, which places the Dominican Republic among the countries that have reached the “zero hunger” goal.
Through his social media, Hernández Alberto described the achievement as “a great breakthrough” and attributed it to sustained work in favor of the Dominican countryside.
“I want to congratulate the government of President Luis Abinader for the great achievement reached, recognized by the FAO, in placing the Dominican Republic among the countries with zero hunger,” he expressed.
Hernández Alberto also highlighted that this result is the fruit of a management focused on strengthening national production and guaranteeing food security.
“This is the result of an administration that has worked day by day to strengthen the Dominican countryside, support our producers, and guarantee the food security of the people. No President of this century has pushed forward with such commitment and results,” he stated.

Hernández Alberto highlighted the role of the agricultural sector in this momentous achievement and acknowledged the president’s direct support for the rural area.
