Santiago.- A 15-year-old teenager and mother of a minor, was found dead in her residence in the El Arenal neighborhood in the municipality of Tamboril, province of Santiago, after making the decision to take her own life.
The relatives of the minor identified as
Evelyn Rodriguez, requested a thorough investigation after considering that the teenager maintained a
“stable life”.
In other news, a man identified as
Venancio de Jesús Zapata, aged 53, attempted to take his own life, ultimately achieving his goal by inflicting several wounds on himself with a firearm.
Family members say Zapata suffered from depression; on other occasions he had attempted suicide.
Zapata, who was dedicated to working for Uber, resided on Calle Six in the Mella II neighborhood, in the Cienfuegos sector, of the Santiago Oeste municipal district.
