Santo Domingo.- Visitors who attended the National Arts Gala held at the National Theater praised the talent demonstrated by the participating students and considered that these types of initiatives should be held more frequently to foster artistic development and keep young people motivated.
During the tour of the exhibitions and artistic presentations, attendees highlighted the quality of the works displayed and the students’ effort in disciplines such as painting, sculpture, dance, theater, and music.
“There are many interesting things of high quality. This type of event should be held more often because they used to be held more frequently,” expressed Pedro García Castro, who highlighted the enthusiasm shown by the young participants.
Visitors also considered that these activities represent an opportunity to support emerging talent and strengthen the cultural education of the youth. “Our youth is flourishing and must be supported. They are teenagers with a lot of potential and a very good start,” stated Digna López, after touring part of the exhibition.
Other attendees highlighted the educational and cultural value of the gala, as well as the diversity of artistic expressions presented. “It has been a very cultural and uplifting experience. I was impressed by the work done by the art schools and the effort of the young people”, stated Rosmery, who especially valued the sculptures and visual works exhibited.

Likewise, several visitors agreed that expanding these spaces would help more young people discover and develop their talents. “This type of event should be held more often. It motivates other young people who perhaps have talent and do not yet know the opportunities offered by art schools”, pointed out Débora Matos.
The National Arts Gala brought together students from different regions of the country in a display of creativity, innovation, and artistic expression, consolidating itself as a platform to showcase youth talent and promote cultural education in the Dominican Republic.
