Villa Hermosa, La Romana, .– Young Génesis Medina Domínguez publicly denounced that she is a victim of alleged harassment, abuse, and persecution by her ex-partner, Hansel Martínez, municipal president of the Fuerza del Pueblo party in Villa Hermosa, and stated that she fears for her life.
During an interview granted to the press, Domínguez stated that she has faced repeated situations of violence and that there is a restraining order issued by the authorities, within the framework of a process related to alleged violations of Law 24-97 on Domestic and Gender-Based Violence.
The complainant maintained that, despite that judicial measure, in several videos shared on social media, her ex-partner can be seen allegedly breaking the windows of a vehicle parked in front of her residence, a place he was not supposed to approach due to the existing restraining order.
