La Altagracia.– A 13-year-old teenager passed away after being rushed to a health center in Punta Cana, following a tragic incident inside his residence.
According to preliminary information attributed to the authorities, the teenager, whose identity is being withheld because they are a minor, was taken to a medical center, where their death was subsequently confirmed.
The competent authorities carried out the corresponding removal in the presence of a representative of the Public Ministry. The case is under investigation with the aim of precisely establishing the circumstances surrounding the unfortunate event.
According to the preliminary version provided by a relative, hours earlier a family situation had occurred related to the use of a cell phone. Subsequently, the teenager returned to the home accompanied by a younger sister.

Some time later, the girl reportedly found the teenager in an emergency situation inside a room, so she immediately alerted her mother. The woman went to the scene and rushed the minor to a health center, where his death was unfortunately confirmed.
So far, the authorities have not offered a definitive conclusion regarding the circumstances of the event, so investigations are continuing.
