Santo Domingo.– An assault that occurred in the El Tamarindo sector, in Santo Domingo Este, has generated concern among residents of the area, after two individuals on a motorcycle, carrying a firearm, robbed a woman of her belongings in the public road.
According to a video, during the event the victim’s daughter
knelt down and begged for mercy from the assailants, fearing that they would attack her mother’s life, which showed the tension and danger of the moment.
The incident occurred in the middle of the Christmas season, a time when the circulation of people in the streets traditionally increases, as well as calls to reinforce citizen security.
