During the operation, the authorities seized controlled substances, cash, and illegal slot machines. Law enforcement announced that they will remain in the area until a safer environment for residents is guaranteed.

The Public Ministry explained that one of the key objectives of the operation is to dismantle clandestine video surveillance systems installed by criminal networks, which hinder the work of the authorities and affect peaceful coexistence in the community.

In addition, representatives from the Ministry of Interior and Police reported that, as part of the intervention, social programs in the sector will be strengthened, in coordination with other state entities, to offer greater opportunities and support to the citizens of Capotillo.

The authorities reiterated their commitment to restoring tranquility to the neighborhoods and ensuring that law-abiding citizens can carry out their daily activities in a safe environment.
