DNCD and Public Ministry arrest 30 people during operations against micro-trafficking in Puerto Plata

Puerto Plata.- The National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), and the Public Ministry carried out various operations in different sectors of this demarcation, resulting in several people arrested linked to the micro-trafficking of controlled substances. These interventions were carried out in the sectors of Las Cañitas, San Marco, Los Callejones, Padre de las Casas, Las Playitas, Padre Granero and the municipalities of Sosua, Cabarete, Villa Isabela and Luperón, among others. In the aforementioned operations, a total of 110 interventions were carried out, resulting in approximately 30 people arrested, and 250 portions of cocaine, 338 of marijuana, 50 portions of crack, 07 units of ecstasy pills and 10 portions of Molly were seized, for a total amount of seized substances of 931.0 grams. Also seized were 2 cell phones and the sum of RD$3,000 Dominican pesos.

Regarding the detainees, they were sent to the prosecutor’s office for the corresponding legal purposes.
