In that same order, the distribution company indicates that it managed to normalize 1,635 other clients within mini projects executed by the entity with the support of international cooperation organizations. The distributor adds that each of the executions carried out during the month of January allowed for the strengthening of the technical and commercial control of the distribution system, these being supported by the elimination of sub-registries, technical and commercial inspections, as well as direct corrections in irregular supplies. Also, the company states that, as part of the work carried out during the first month of the year, 7,057 records were drawn up for irregularity, thus contributing to the strengthening of the legal and technical basis that allow the correction of consumption and the recovery of unregistered energy. According to the electric company’s estimates, the more than 34 thousand inspections resulted in a total energy recovery of 593,232 kWh, positively impacting Edeeste’s financial and operational sustainability. Edeeste reiterates its commitment to operational efficiency, legality, and the sustainability of the electrical system, reaffirming that these actions are essential to guarantee a reliable and fair service for all users. The company urges the population to avoid illegal connections, as these affect the stability of the system, pose a risk to the safety of communities, and undermine the country’s development. Edeeste concluded by stating that it will continue working with the authorities, community leaders, and its clients in promoting a culture of responsible consumption, legal energy, and energy efficiency, fundamental pillars for a modern, equitable, and sustainable electrical system.#Most read
