Vehicle with five undocumented Haitians stopped in Azua

Five Haitian citizens in irregular migratory condition were arrested at a military checkpoint located at kilometer 15 of Azua province, while traveling in a Hyundai Sonata vehicle, gray color, with license plate AA41780.
The foreigners, three men and two women, were being transported by the Dominican citizen Miguel Cabral Ogando, who allegedly evaded several military checkpoints before being intercepted by members of the Dominican Republic Army, after a brief chase.
The driver, the occupants, and the vehicle were detained and will be handed over to the General Directorate of Migration (DGM) for the corresponding legal purposes.
