Seguros Reservas carried out the process corresponding to the Selection Procedure for Buyers and Disposal of Salvaged Vehicle Lots, developed under a structured scheme of transparency, objectivity, and institutional control, in accordance with the provisions of the Terms of Reference SR-SALV-001-2026. This contest constitutes the first process carried out by the institution under the modality of formal terms of specific conditions for the selection and awarding of buyers of vehicle salvage, setting an important precedent in the strengthening of control and governance mechanisms applicable to this type of operations. The implementation of the new model responds to an institutional decision driven by the current management headed by the executive vice president, Mr. Luis Valdez Veras, aimed at strengthening the mechanisms of transparency, control, and institutional standardization in this type of process. Although the adoption of this modality did not constitute an express legal obligation for the entity, Seguros Reservas decided to incorporate this scheme as part of its commitment to the best practices of corporate governance, free competition, and operational traceability. The process began with a public call aimed at all those interested in participating in the acquisition of vehicle salvage, establishing objective eligibility criteria, documentary requirements, qualification conditions, and evaluation mechanisms previously defined in the corresponding specifications. Subsequently, the participants were subjected to a review and refinement process aimed at validating compliance with the established requirements, enabling only those participants who satisfactorily met the defined provisions and criteria. The awarding day was attended in person by the twelve authorized companies and was developed through a random selection mechanism using numbered spheres assigned to each participant, according to the official order of the registry taken for the event. Likewise, the process was supervised by the Executive Vice Presidency and representatives from the areas of Compliance, Internal Control, Legal Consulting, and Finance, who provided comprehensive follow-up to each of the stages developed, ensuring adherence to the principles of transparency, fair competition, objectivity, traceability, and institutional control contained in the procedure. The event also included the participation of a public notary, responsible for formally certifying the legality, transparency, and correct execution of the draw, officially recording all actions taken during the day.

Awarded companies

During the draw, the following companies were awarded for the corresponding periods: JM Puello Auto Group SRL, Auto Centro Duarte Herrera SRL, Talleres Rubén Tapia SRL and Overhaul Auto Pintura & Parts SRL. With this initiative, Seguros Reservas continues to strengthen its institutional processes, promoting increasingly robust, transparent, and reliable mechanisms aligned with the best practices of asset management and disposal.
