United States.- The renowned Chilean presenter Don Francisco is preparing his return to the Univision screen with “Gigantes con Don Francisco”, a new program that will arrive on the Hispanic network in October.
Mario Luis Kreutzberger Blumenfeld, for more than five decades, became one of the most influential figures in Spanish-language television thanks to the success of “Sábado Gigante”, a variety show that captivated several generations of viewers in the United States and Latin America.
Univision announced that the new production will combine interviews, nostalgia, music, surprises, and reunions with some of the most important figures in Latin culture. “For more than five decades, Don Francisco defined Spanish-language television thanks to the revolutionary success of Sábado Gigante,” the network highlighted when announcing the project.
A return filled with nostalgia
“Gigantes con Don Francisco” will consist of special interview programs in which the host will talk with renowned Latino personalities about their lives and careers.
Each episode will include interviews, a musical band, and unexpected encounters with the guests’ family, friends, and colleagues. Some of the most memorable moments of their careers will also be reviewed.
