Prince Harry, who turns 42 today

Prince Harry turns 42 this September 15th amidst a schedule of activities in the United Kingdom, where he returned with Meghan Markle at the end of August, six years after they both stepped back from their duties as working members of the British royal family.
The visit coincides with the preparations for a new edition of the Invictus Games, which will be held in Birmingham in 2027, an initiative created by Harry to support military veterans and people who have suffered injuries or illnesses during their service.
As part of his agenda, the Duke of Sussex will inaugurate the Invictus Spirit Awards this Thursday, a new ceremony by the Invictus Games Foundation aimed at recognizing individuals, organizations, and communities that embody values such as resilience and service.
The following day, Harry plans to present INSPIRE, an educational program aimed at students from early childhood through the fifth grade. The initiative will use stories from Invictus Games competitors to address values related to service, resilience, and recovery.
During this activity, the prince is expected to meet with around 200 students, participate in a school assembly, and play pickleball alongside young people and veterans.
The Duke of Sussex’s schedule also includes his participation in the WellChild Awards, one of the commitments he has maintained for the longest time within his public activity. Harry has been a patron of this organization since 2007, and during the event, he will meet with seriously ill children, recognized young people, and their families, as well as healthcare professionals and caregivers.
Subsequently, Prince Harry will return to the United States, where he plans to participate in the Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting, which will be held in New York on September 22 and 23.
Harry’s return to the United Kingdom and his participation in these activities occur in a particular context for the British royal family, as his public engagements continue to take place outside the official structure of the monarchy.
