Transfusión bets on the reggae of the future with the release of “Noche de Leyenda”

Santo Domingo.– The iconic Dominican band Transfusión continues to consolidate its return to the music scene with the release of its new single “Noche de Leyenda”, a proposal that fuses the reggae that has defined their career with electronic elements and contemporary sounds, aiming to connect with new generations without losing their essence.

The song is available starting this Thursday, June 4th, on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and major digital platforms, marking a new step in the renewed artistic phase of the group, considered one of the most important references in Dominican alternative music.

The premiere comes at an especially favorable time for the band, which recently returned to the stage with the track “Vamo’ a Fluir,” a production influenced by afrobeat rhythms that received a positive reception from the public. Added to this is the success of their performance at Hard Rock Café Santo Domingo, where they achieved a sold-out show sharing the stage with singer-songwriter Pavel Núñez.

Composed of Héctor Aníbal Estrella on lead vocals, Rigoberto Zapata on bass and musical direction, Alfio Lora on keyboards and production, and Jean Pimentel on drums and co-production, Transfusión reaffirms with this release its ability to reinvent itself without abandoning the identity that made it one of the most beloved groups in the country.

“Noche de Leyenda” revolves around a universal idea: those unforgettable nights marked by fun, freedom, and experiences that remain in one’s memory. The song combines the positive energy characteristic of reggae with a modern production that incorporates electronic nuances and a sound adapted to current times.

The single features the participation of José Alejandro Bordas, a long-time collaborator of the group and author of iconic tracks such as “Mujer Mujer” and “Yo Me Doy”. On this occasion, he shares credits with composers Beisik and Luis Miguel Durán, achieving a blend between the traditional essence of Transfusión and new creative perspectives.

As part of the launch strategy, the band also presented a music video developed using artificial intelligence by Ambiorix Martínez.
