Los Alcarrizos City Hall grants financial support to a scholarship student to study in the United States

Los Alcarrizos.– The Municipal Council of Los Alcarrizos delivered an economic contribution of 100 thousand pesos to the young Elizabeth Pérez Orthela, as support so that she can continue her academic training abroad, after having obtained a university scholarship in the United States.

Pérez Orthela, a graduate of the Polytechnic Max Henríquez Ureña, had requested help through social media, an initiative that caught the attention of Mayor Junior Santos, who decided to receive her and offer her the necessary support on behalf of the municipal administration. The young woman managed to obtain an outstanding international scholarship that covers 100% of the tuition for four years, a period in which she will study a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Data Analytics, Management and Economics, a key training in areas of high demand in the global labor market.

The contribution provided by Mayor Junior Santos is intended to cover complementary expenses related to her relocation and stay, which will allow the student to fully take advantage of this academic opportunity.
