Emergency crews rescued two people in separate incidents Tuesday at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, including one person who fell from the cliffs and was taken to a hospital.
The latest accident came just two days after a dramatic cliff rescue at the same location was captured on video and widely shared online.
Witnesses saw one individual climbing the cliffs near Sunset Cliffs Boulevard and Froude Street before losing their footing, striking the rocks below and falling into the ocean.
Officials said the injured person was rescued and transported to a hospital. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
Sunset Cliffs is a popular destination despite repeated warnings from authorities about the dangers of illegal cliff jumping and climbing.
