New York.- The Dominican airline Arajet continues to consolidate as a benchmark in air passenger transport, by announcing that it will have new frequencies connecting Newark International Airport with Las Américas International Airport in Santo Domingo during the months of December and January. Víctor Pacheco, CEO and founder of Arajet, led the airline’s participation in the Dominican Day Parade in New York, where he explained that during those months the airline will have two daily flights to that destination.

“Estamos comprometidos con nuestra diáspora, por eso estamos aquí apoyando la tradicional parada dominicana del día; y en diciembre y en enero tendremos dos vuelos diarios para que los dominicanos tengan más oportunidades de volar al mejor precio para disfrutar de las vacaciones de Navidad con sus familiares en el país”,

explicó Pacheco.
According to the executive, the New York route has become Arajet’s most successful, where more than 16,000 passengers have flown in just 7 weeks of operation. “We are very grateful to our diaspora in New York and New Jersey, because with only 1 daily flight we have already flown 16,820 passengers in just 7 weeks that this route has, making it the one with the best occupancy in our entire network,” added Pacheco.

Pacheco also highlighted that the good performance of the New York route led to July closing as the airline’s most successful month in its young history, with more than 140 thousand passengers transported that month.

“We are a Dominican airline that is reaffirming its commitment to the United States market, while consolidating the destinations to which we already fly in Latin America; that is why we are adding the routes of Boston, Chicago and Orlando, in the United States, and Córdoba – Punta Cana and Buenos Aires – Santo Domingo in Argentina in the fall,” added Pacheco.

Arajet paraded in the Dominican Parade with a truck of LED televisions that was showing the attributes of the destination Dominican Republic, as well as the most striking offers of the airline.
