At least 61 killed in gang attack in Kenscoff, Haiti
Kenscoff remains under the grip of deadly gang violence, with residents facing killings, injuries and displacement following attacks attributed to the Viv Ansanm gang coalition.
According to the information provided, the United Nations recorded 61 deaths following an attack in Kenscoff in July. The municipality, located in the hills above Pétion-Ville, is controlled by armed gangs.
The violence has also forced families from their homes, while some residents have reportedly lost relatives and seen their houses burned during the attacks.
The situation highlights the continuing security crisis in Haiti, where armed groups maintain control over several areas and civilians continue to bear the consequences.
