Donald Trump announces more than 400 million dollars for the Republican campaign in the legislative elections

U.S. President Donald Trump announced this Tuesday that he will allocate more than 400 million dollars to the Republican Party’s campaign for the legislative elections on November 3, in which the United States Congress will be renewed.
The president made the announcement through his Truth Social platform, where he expressed his support for his party’s policies and presented the investment as part of the efforts to mobilize Republican voters.
The statement comes in an electoral context in which, according to polls cited by the EFE agency, the Democrats have a chance of regaining control of Congress.
Donald Trump announces investment
In his post, Trump claimed that he has already spent or plans to spend more than $400 million to support Republican electoral activities.
The president detailed that more than 300 million dollars have already been invested in advertising, rallies, and other initiatives aimed at promoting voter participation.
The announcement includes both disbursed resources and planned expenses, so it does not mean that the entirety of the funds has been used.
Donald Trump also linked his decision to his support for the principles of the Republican Party and to recent events in Europe, particularly the riots recorded in France.
In that sense, he suggested that a Republican victory would help prevent similar situations from recurring in the United States.

Donald Trump mentions France
Over the last few days, the president has attributed the student protests and the riots that occurred in France to the French government’s migration policy.
According to their interpretation, that country’s migration measures have favored the massive arrival of immigrants.
These statements are part of the position expressed by Trump and do not constitute an independent conclusion regarding the causes of the riots.
The president used those events as an argument to insist on the importance he attaches to the upcoming U.S. legislative elections.
Republican election tour
As part of his mobilization strategy, Donald Trump plans to travel this Tuesday to North Carolina, where he will continue his support activities for Republican candidates.
The president visited Kansas on Monday and is considering traveling to South Carolina, Iowa, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, and Texas over the next few days.

The tour is taking place as Republicans seek to maintain their electoral support against the Democrats, amid citizen discontent related to inflation, gas prices, and the war in Iran, according to the EFE report.
Donald Trump and elections
The November 3, 2026 elections will be an electoral test for the Republican Party during Trump’s term.
The result will determine the new composition of Congress and, with it, the political balance between the Executive and Legislative branches.
The announcement of more than 400 million dollars reflects the importance the president attaches to the Republican campaign, although the published information does not detail how the funds will be distributed among candidates, committees, and other electoral activities.
