At least 27 people died and several were injured during a major fire that destroyed a pub in the northern area of Bangkok early this Monday. Emergency teams reported that the tragedy occurred around midnight at the venue known as Na Ladprao, located in the Chatuchak district.
The alarm was triggered when a dense column of black smoke began to pour out of the main entrance, while dozens of people tried to escape. The first images that circulated showed intense flames consuming the building and people fleeing in the midst of panic. Rescuers confirmed that the fire was brought under control shortly after half an hour of coordinated work.

Investigators are analyzing recordings and testimonies to determine if there were electrical failures or non-compliance with safety regulations. At the moment, no hypothesis is being ruled out.
