The Embassy of Iran in Tunisia shared on social media a video created with artificial intelligence in which it depicts a fictional fight between the Statue of Liberty, a symbol of the United States, and Christ the Redeemer, one of Brazil’s most iconic monuments.
The sequence, set in the city of Rio de Janeiro, shows the two figures turned into large animated characters. In the images, the Statue of Liberty initiates the confrontation by throwing a punch at Christ the Redeemer, who subsequently responds with several attacks until partially destroying the face of his adversary.
In another scene, the Brazilian monument lifts the American statue and throws it against the ground, causing it to break into multiple fragments.
The audiovisual was accompanied by the message “One front, one fight”, while the post included the phrase “The victory of faith over imperialism”, a statement interpreted as a political critique of the United States.

The dissemination of the video occurred shortly after US President Donald Trump reiterated threats to impose 25% tariffs on products from Brazil, amid trade disagreements between both countries.
The publication also occurs in a context of persistent tensions between Iran and the United States, marked by stalled peace negotiations and regional conflicts involving countries such as Israel and Lebanon.
