Pete Hegseth says Pentagon is no longer the woke department: “No fatties… just warriors”
U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said during a speech at Marine Corps Base Quantico that the Pentagon is “no longer the woke department or the weak department,” before listing a series of derogatory terms, including “no fatties,” and declaring: “Just warriors.”
The remarks came during Hegseth’s “State of the Force” address, where he outlined his vision for the U.S. military and announced several initiatives focused on military standards, leadership and combat readiness.
