Trump announces 25% tariffs for India along with penalties for trading with Russia

Trump insisted that the Indian Government “has always bought the vast majority of its military equipment from Russia, and they are the largest buyer of ENERGY from Russia, along with China, at a time when everyone wants Russia to STOP THE KILLING IN UKRAINE”. “ALL OF THIS IS NOT GOOD!” warned the president, who added that because of this, starting in August, India “will pay a 25% tariff, plus a penalty for the above”, referring to its trade relations with Moscow, in a message in capital letters true to the style that the New Yorker usually uses on social media.
