Marileidy Paulino shines with double victory in Philadelphia

Dominican sprinter Marileidy Paulino reaffirmed her status as one of the great figures of international athletics by achieving the double in the 200 and 400 meter races during the Grand Slam Track (GST) held in Philadelphia.
With this performance, he adds his second consecutive triumph in this prestigious circuit.
Paulino won the 200 meters with a time of 22.46 seconds, leaving American Isabella Whittaker in second place (22.82s) and Jessika Gbai of Ivory Coast in third (22.85s).
Earlier, she dominated the 400 meters by stopping the clock at 49.12 seconds, ahead of Nickisha Pryce (50.04s) and again Whittaker (50.16s).
