Banreservas announces support for the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026

Santo Domingo.– The Banco de Reservas de la República Dominicana announced its official support for the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026, through a strategic alliance with the Organizing Committee of the sporting event that will bring together athletes from across the region from July 24 to August 8, 2026.

During the presentation, the financial institution also launched its new institutional campaign, inspired by the values of effort, courage, and overcoming that identify the Dominican people and their athletes. The CEO of Banreservas, Leonardo Aguilera, stated that this initiative represents much more than an institutional positioning strategy, as it reflects the bank’s commitment to sports, tourism, and the international projection of the Dominican Republic. “This campaign reaffirms the patriotism and fighting spirit of all Dominicans. Our support for the Games is also a bet on the image of the country and on the historical legacy that our athletes represent,” Aguilera said. The executive highlighted that Banreservas will develop various activities and activations in different provinces of the country before and during the Games, with the aim of bringing the Olympic spirit closer to the entire population and motivating support for the national delegations. Likewise, it was pointed out that the assembly of the Games has been possible thanks to the decisive support of President Luis Abinader, who has promoted the realization of this important multidisciplinary event. For his part, the Minister of Sports, Kelvin Cruz, positively valued the alliance between the financial sector and the national sports movement, highlighting that this type of support strengthens the development of Dominican sports. Similarly, José Monegro highlighted the relevance of having the support of an institution that has historically contributed to the growth of sports in the country. Banreservas’ new advertising campaign emphasizes the sacrifice and perseverance of Dominican athletes, using messages that exalt national pride and the capacity for self-improvement, under slogans such as “We are invincible for getting this far” and “This is how invincible we are at Banreservas.” Executives from the banking institution, sports leaders, athletes, media representatives, and special guests attended the launch, in an event filled with elements representative of Dominican culture and identity.
