Bryan de la Cruz is awarded Most Valuable Player and receives a JAC JS6 SUV in La Romana

LA ROMANA.– The Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) held this Thursday the official presentation of the Most Valuable Player award of the season to Bryan de la Cruz, outfielder for the Toros del Este, who was recognized with the trophy that credits him as the most outstanding player of the championship and a JAC JS6 model 2026 yipeta, courtesy of the dealer Viamar.

The awards ceremony took place during a brief ceremony held before the start of the second game of the Final Series, at the Francisco A. Micheli stadium, and was led by the president of LIDOM, Vitelio Mejía Ortiz, accompanied by José Reyes, brand manager of JAC Passengers in the Dominican Republic, and Jorge Sturla, executive vice president of the Toros del Este. Visibly excited, De la Cruz received the JAC JS6 zero kilometer vehicle, an SUV equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine, four cylinders, 180 horsepower, six-speed DCT transmission, paddle shifters, and a torque of 280 NM, characteristics that position it as one of the most modern and powerful within its segment. LIDOM highlighted the outstanding performance of the player from La Romana throughout the season, while expressing its gratitude to “Viamar” and “JAC Pasajeros” for their continuous support of Dominican professional baseball and the awards that exalt the excellence of its protagonists.

Dominance in the votes

Bryan de la Cruz widely led the voting process for the Most Valuable Player award, accumulating 431 points, the result of 57 first-place votes, six second-place votes, two third-place votes, and one fourth-place vote, prevailing with a clear advantage over the rest of the candidates.
