Estrellas Orientales makes adjustments to its coaching staff for the remainder of the season

SAN PEDRO DE MACORÍS. – Las Estrellas Orientales announced this Thursday a series of moves in their coaching staff, with a view to strengthening the team’s work structure for the remainder of the 2025-26 season of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM).

The green team reported that Carlos Paulino was promoted to bench coach, going on to directly accompany the manager Fernando Tatis, replacing Wilton Veras. Following his promotion, the new catching coach will be Javier Roa, who assumes the functions previously held by Paulino. Other moves include the change of Ronald Ramírez, who leaves his role as third base coach to become assistant manager, taking the place of Miguel Bernard. Meanwhile, Claudio Almonte moves from first base coach to third base coach, and his former position will be occupied by Elvis Peña.

Position in the table

Las Estrellas (10-14) are currently in fifth place in the tournament, only half a game behind the Tigres del Licey (9-12), who hold fourth place, the last qualifying spot for the Round Robin. They are also one game behind the Escogido (10-12), in third place, and half a game behind the Toros del Este (10-11), located in second place. The Águilas Cibaeñas dominate the championship with a record of 17-3, in a Regular Series composed of 50 games for each team.
