Gigantes del Cibao ratify Jefry Sierra as manager for the rest of the season

SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS. – The Gigantes del Cibao announced this Thursday the ratification of Jefry Sierra as the team’s manager for the rest of the season, after recently taking over the position on an interim basis.

The announcement was made by the franchise’s chief operating officer, Alfredo Acebal Rizek, who expressed the organization’s full confidence in Sierra’s work, leadership, and ability to lead the team at this stage of the championship.

“Jefry has all our support and the necessary confidence to continue carrying out his work in the best way. We firmly believe in his ability and his leadership within the clubhouse,” said Acebal Rizek. Similarly, the organization ratified Kremlin Martínez as bench coach, ensuring the continuity of the technical staff during the development of the All Against All. Currently, the Gigantes del Cibao have a record of 0-4 in the semifinal phase and this Thursday they visit the Águilas Cibaeñas at the Cibao stadium in Santiago, in their second match between both teams in this instance of the tournament. The Giants’ management reiterated its commitment to work in a unified manner to reverse the current situation and compete with the necessary intensity in the remainder of the season.
