Toros del Este receive integrations in second week of training

LA ROMANA.- The training sessions of the Toros del Este continue to advance at a good pace and this Monday they received important integrations of players, right on the date the club celebrated its first inter-squad game.

Among the most recent integrations are the left-handed José Manuel Fernández, veteran infielder Ramón Torres, catcher Onil Pérez, as well as relievers Arodys Vizcaíno and Richelson Peña. In the same way, the pitchers selected in the past Rookie Draft were presented: Marlon Nieves, right-handed pitcher for the Dodgers, and the left-handed pitcher Johan Simón, of the Blue Jays. Also present were veteran left-hander Joely Rodriguez and outfielder Ismael Alcantara, who join another large group of players who joined at the end of last week, including Yairo Munoz, Ronald Guzman, Jhon Nunez, Yoyner Fajardo, Jesus Martinez, Isaias Tejeda, as well as pitchers Patricio Aquino, Javier Montero and Henry Henry, the last two in an invited role. A total of 66 players, including those invited to training camp, are at the Corral as the team continues to prepare for the start of the 2025-26 season, next October 15th.

Preseason Calendar

The bullfighting team began playing inter-squad games this Monday and starting next week will begin a series of eight preseason games with Leones and Estrellas, which will be announced later.
