Club Los Prados recognizes its best athletes; Dashley Del Rosario is awarded as "Athlete of the Year"

SANTO DOMINGO, RD. – Club Los Prados held its traditional awards ceremony this Thursday, in which the most outstanding athletes from the different disciplines practiced in its facilities were recognized, impacting more than two thousand children and young people who are part of its sports program.

The event took place at the Prados Bar, before a large gathering of family members, coaches, and athletes from the eight disciplines that make up the club’s enrollment: baseball, basketball, billiards and dominoes (recreational for adults), soccer, softball, taekwondo and volleyball.

Dashley Del Rosario, Athlete of the Year 2025

The gala’s highest recognition, “Athlete of the Year”, went to the youth Dashley Daniela Del Rosario Morillo, who was also distinguished as the Most Valuable Player in the disciplines of soccer and taekwondo, reflecting her outstanding multi-sport performance.

The awards ceremony was led by Jorge Ramírez, president of Club Los Prados, along with his wife Nancy Alcántara de Ramírez, and the members of the Board of Directors:

Yubelkis Ramírez, former swimmer
Rosa Miniño, president of the Dominican Federation of Social Clubs

The ceremony had a special dedication to Yubelkis Ramírez and Armando Rodríguez, who were recognized by the Board of Directors. Ramírez was declared Meritorious Member of the club.
