The TNAC Prejuvenil Femenino 2025-2026 began with the participation of 16 teams

Santo Domingo.- The National Tournament of Associations and Clubs of the Dominican Football Federation launched the Pre-Juvenile category of the Women’s division last weekend with the matches of the first day of the Metropolitan Zone. Six teams make up this region and 16 in total will compete in the tournament throughout the country. The competition is part of the Development Program of the FDF and is under the coordination of the National Competitions Department headed by Carlos Ramírez. The tournament is scheduled to end in March 2026. A total of 92 matches will be staged throughout the Dominican territory for this competition designed for players born on or after January 1, 2009 (U-16). The competition format will have a first phase with 16 clubs distributed in three zones: Metropolitan, North and South.

The Metropolitan Zone is composed of: SD Colonial, EF D&F, CDR 5 de Abril, Atlético Los Villanos, Garrincha FC and Nacional FC. In the South Zone: Estrella Azul FC, Paraíso FC, Sabana Yegua FC, Kenson FC and Neyba FC. While the Northeast is made up of: Cibao FC, Real Deportivo, San Francisco FC, Jarabacoa A4 Sports and KM5 FC. The top four clubs from the Metropolitan Zone and the top two from both the North and South Zones will advance to the second phase (quarter-finals). The winners will in turn advance to the semi-finals and then to the grand final. The Metropolitan Zone played its first match on the weekend of Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21, 2025: Garrincha FC 0-3 EF D&F, SD Colonial 2-0 Nacional FC and CDR 2-1 Atl. Los Villanos. The second day will take place on Saturday, September 27th with the matches: Nacional FC vs Garrincha FC, EF D&F vs Atl. Los Villanos and SD Colonial vs CDR 5 de Abril.
