The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the dollar for this Monday, August 31, as follows:
At the counters of Remittance and Exchange Agents, the US dollar closed the session with a quote of RD$56.95 for purchase and RD$59.59 for sale.
Compared to the previous week (when it was trading at RD$56.95 for purchase and RD$59.65 for sale), the Dominican peso recorded a slight appreciation of 0.02% in the purchase and 0.10% in the sale.
On the other hand, in the Financial Entities segment, the US currency was quoted at the counter at RD$58.27 for purchase and RD$59.15 for sale.
When compared to the previous week (when the dollar averaged RD$58.12 for purchase and RD$59.16 for sale), the peso experienced a daily depreciation of -0.25% in the purchase rate, while the selling rate showed a slight appreciation of 0.02%.
