“A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” expands the Game of Thrones universe with a more intimate and human story
Lisbon / New York. – The universe of Game of Thrones continues to expand with the premiere of “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms), the new HBO series that bets on a closer and more adventurous story, set decades before the events of the iconic production based on the work of George R. R. Martin.
The series is inspired by the novella The Hedge Knight and is set approximately 100 years before Game of Thrones, following the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall, a hedge knight of humble origins, and his young squire Egg, who will later have a key role in the history of Westeros.
Unlike the grand battles, dragons, and complex political intrigues that characterized previous productions, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms focuses on a more intimate narrative, highlighting honor, loyalty, and the consequences of power struggles in the lives of ordinary people.
