Santo Domingo.– The Chamber of Accounts of the Dominican Republic (CCRD), in coordination with the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP) and the National Institute for Technical Vocational Training (INFOTEP), certified 86 employees after completing various training programs aimed at strengthening their technical and professional skills.
The training sessions included the areas of Technical Report Writing and Presentation, Gender Perspective in Public Service, Spelling and Writing, Customer Service, and Archiving Techniques, with the aim of contributing to the continuous improvement of services and institutional strengthening.
The Human Resources Director of the CCRD, Nurys Bastardo, highlighted that ongoing training constitutes a key tool to improve the quality of public service and strengthen staff capabilities.
“The constant training of our staff constitutes a fundamental tool to strengthen the quality of public service, raise technical competencies, and contribute to the efficient and transparent fulfillment of the institutional mission,” he/she expressed.

The certificate delivery ceremony was led by the vice president of the Chamber of Accounts Plenary, Francisco Tamárez Florentino, representing the institution’s president, Emma Polanco Melo.

During his speech, Tamárez highlighted the entity’s commitment to the continuous training of its collaborators and stated that the Chamber of Accounts has the responsibility of safeguarding the heritage of all Dominicans.
Within the framework of the activity, the Director General of INAP, Gregorio Montero Montero, gave the lecture “Effective communication in the public sector and its impact on citizens,” where he addressed the challenges of government communication, the importance of Open Government, and the need to strengthen trust between the State and the citizenry.
Montero pointed out that effective institutional communication must be citizen-centered, supported by strategic planning, and adapted to the digital transformation processes of public administration.

Training initiatives are coordinated by the Human Resources Directorate and the National School of Accounts (ENC), with the purpose of promoting the professional development of staff and strengthening the achievement of institutional objectives.
The Chamber of Accounts highlighted that the relaunch of the National School of Accounts is part of the main actions promoted by the current Plenary. As a result of this effort, the entity has developed more than 500 training actions and capacity-building courses aimed at strengthening the competencies of its collaborators and promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in the tasks of control and oversight of public resources.
